Merry Christmas and a soon to be happy New Year. As I sit home alone on Christmas eve I have a lot of time to reflect on this past year. From near divorce, to abandoning the work here to a 7 week separation from family we have had a year fraught with challenge, adversity, but most importantly, victory and growth. One Step at a Time
The hardest thing about following God often isn’t the difficulties on the path, but rather the patience it takes to wait for Him to show you where you are supposed to put your foot next. But that is also one of the most exciting. Continue reading One Step at a Time

Mingle With Men as One Who Desires Their Good.
You know the term “bun in the oven?” Being pregnant in this brutal Bangkok summer heat has added a whole new depth of meaning to the phrase. Not only do I live in an oven, I literally am an oven. But like I’ve always said, God rewards the sufferers of this heat with mango season. Thank God for the mangoes. Continue reading Mingle With Men as One Who Desires Their Good.
Back in Bangkok
As I sat waiting for the next blast of the horn that would send me out of the driver seat to tell the bus driver he needed to calm down I was greeted instead by the sound of a knock on my window and the bus driver standing there with a length of metal pole.
