Blood, Sweat and Tears
The phrase is common; “I poured my blood, sweat and tears into this.” Well the work here has fit that to a T. The early stages of demolition produced much sweat and a fair bit of blood. Summer Update
These last 2 months have been a whirlwind, yet as I write that I feel like I have started most of our recent newsletters the same way. Mingle With Men as One Who Desires Their Good.
You know the term “bun in the oven?” Being pregnant in this brutal Bangkok summer heat has added a whole new depth of meaning to the phrase. Not only do I live in an oven, I literally am an oven. But like I’ve always said, God rewards the sufferers of this heat with mango season. Thank God for the mangoes. Continue reading Mingle With Men as One Who Desires Their Good.
Back in Bangkok
As I sat waiting for the next blast of the horn that would send me out of the driver seat to tell the bus driver he needed to calm down I was greeted instead by the sound of a knock on my window and the bus driver standing there with a length of metal pole.
